What is the Public Health Clinic?
The Public Health Clinic at Richland Public Health provides non-emergency public health services for people of all ages. Our services are available by appointment.
To better meet your needs, we schedule appointments during business hours. Walk-ins are seen as time permits. To avoid wait times, appointments are suggested.
At our clinic, nurses provide pediatric and adult immunizations and TB testing. Immunizations are offered at Neighborhood Clinics throughout the county and our International Travel Program provides consultation and the required vaccines for residents traveling outside the country.
Clinic Fees
Fees for most services are based on a sliding scale and no one is refused childhood immunizations due to inability to pay. Medicare/Medicaid cards & Medicaid Managed Care is accepted. An interpreter may be arranged if needed for foreign language or hearing-impaired clients.
As we continue to provide you and your family with quality, low-cost medical care, we must remain responsible with finances.
- If we are a provider of your insurance: You will be required to pay co-pays and deductibles at the time of service. This is required in order for the Health Department to bill your insurance company as a courtesy.
- If we are not a provider of your insurance: FULL PAY is expected at the time of service
- If Medicaid is your secondary insurance coverage, the Health Department will bill your primary insurance as required.
