Organizations

Youth-serving organizations are encouraged to apply for the AED program. The application consists of a brief needs assessment of:

What population(s) your organization serves
The number of persons served
Other basic organizational information.

Priority will be given to organizations that primarily serve/host Richland County youth and youth sports. Additional priority will be given to organizations that demonstrate a capacity and willingness to prioritize historically underserved populations with program resources.

Benefits of joining the AED program include:

Initial and annual AED device assistance.
Continuing education opportunities.
Access to Red Cross training assistance.
Quarterly Newsletters with up-to-date information on pediatric heart health.
Enrollment in a Richland County SCA/SCD reporting & monitoring program.
Access to RPH Health educators who may assist in organizational AED program(s) as needed.
