Richland Public Health wants Richland County residents to have a fun and productive summer while keeping safety among your summer planning. Among those summer safety and health issues are: the heat index, humidity and heat safety including the dangers of hyperthermia, especially for children left in cars; recreational water illness; safe swimming; skin cancer awareness; picnic food safety; and summer weather lightning awareness.

The information is available at www.richlandhealth.org under the “Personal” menu and listed as “Summer Safety” or by clicking here: https://richlandhealth.org/personal/summer-safety/
