COVID-19 VACCINATION INFORMATION FOR SENIORS AGE 80 AND UP (January 14, 2021)

Richland County, Ohio – Richland County will receive a limited number of vaccines to begin Phase 1B of Ohio’s COVID-19 Vaccination plans starting the week of January 18, 2021. In accordance with Governor Mike DeWine’s directive, only seniors age 80 and older will be eligible during this first week.

Richland Public Health (555 Lexington Avenue, Mansfield) requires registration by a Central Scheduling phone call. That phone number, 1-866-395-1588, will be active at 9 am on Friday, January 15, and remain active from 9 am to 7 pm Monday through Saturday. Again, only seniors age 80 and up are being scheduled to start the week of January 18. Instead of Richland Public Health, Richland County residents who want to receive a COVID-19 vaccine may choose to schedule an appointment at one of the following locations within the County. Please call to see what registration requirements each location may have. Do not attempt to schedule at more than one location!

• OhioHealth Mansfield will be providing an update for the location and phone number they will use for those age 80 and up. Note: OhioHealth-eligible patients will be notified when they can self-schedule their vaccine online at MyChart.OhioHealth.com or the OhioHealth app.

For all locations, you may bring one (1) support person, if needed for assistance.

As with ANY vaccine, if you are ill, you need to wait until you are feeling better to get it. Please Do Not Come To Any Of Our Vaccinations Clinics If You Are Ill (fever 100.4 or higher, cough, short of breath, muscle/body aches, sore throat, vomiting, diarrhea, etc.).

Please Wear A Face Covering/Mask If You Are Coming To Any Vaccination Site. If the clinic location is busy, please remember to keep your distance from others to reduce the spread of illnesses.
