Richland Walks:  A Mall Walking Program

Richland County, OH — Interested in taking a step toward better health in 2018? Richland Walks, which takes place at the Richland Mall, is a FREE program designed to encourage walking in a safe, indoor location.

Richland Mall in partnership with Avita Health System and Richland Public Health are working to create a culture of wellness and physical activity by promoting year-round participation in walking.

Richland Mall is an attractive place for walkers of all ages and abilities. The mall provides an indoor environment free from the dangers of traffic and can be used most days of the year regardless of weather.  It also provides level walking surfaces, benches for places to rest, drinking fountains, and public restrooms.

Registered participants will receive structured mall walking resources, quarterly health & wellness educational programs, friendly competitions, and prizes.
