Please join us Tuesday, March 19th for the next PREP District 1 Coalition meeting. This virtual meeting will be held from 10:00am-12:00pm and will include special guest speaker Stacey Mong, Clinical Child & Adolescent Supervisor at Catalyst Life Services. Registation is required for this meeting.
Register for Facilitator Training
Want to provide PREP to your youth? This 1-day training will provide you with the necessary knowledge, skills, materials, and resources to facilitate the “Making Proud Choices” curriculum and Adult Preparation Module with the youth you serve. All youth serving professionals, organizations and/or community members working youth ages 14-21 in foster care, group homes, independent living, the juvenile justice system, or alternative schools are welcome to register and join us! Our next Facilitator Training will take place on Thursday, February 29, 2024, from 8:00am-5:00pm at Richland Public Health. Click below to register!
At the District 1 PREP Coalition meeting on January 24th, we were joined by Ben Stevens and Luna Malbroux from Soul Bird Consulting, who conducted a Cultural Humility training. If you were unable to attend, you can watch the recording.
At the District 1 PREP Coalition meeting on October 7th, we were joined by Sarah Buffie, Founding Director of Soul Bird Consulting, who conducted a Trauma Response Care training. Sarah’s goal is to spread awareness about how trauma affects the brain and body, and teach effective interventions for developing resilience within people and organizations.
